This watch is just stunning in person. It is hard to see just how retro and fantastic this watch looks in photos. In the photos the SRQ043 just looks like a nice chronograph, but in person you can appreciate all the details on the dial. What also makes this watch cool is that it is a mechanical chronograph. You don't get many mechanical chronographs from Seiko. This watch was inspired by the watch Seiko created for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. What makes this cooler is that the watch was released in 2020 when Tokyo was supposed to host the Olympics again. Due to covid-19 the Olympics was postponed and we can only how much more attention this watch would have gotten during the Olympics. This is a limited edition series which really carries a unique retro look. The cream colored dial is very unique and is sure to cause a lot of conversations.
