The enduring theme of the moon and it's importance in Japanese culture is reflected in the rich blue dial with its distinctive asymmetrical crescent layout and the blue crocodile strap with gold backing. To highlight the beauty of hand-craftsmanship by master enamel artists, the dial is uninterrupted by subdials or inserts. The slim 24-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and manual winding capability.
