Wisdom and Victory. Cast in Silver. Set in 18k Gold.
In the ancient Greek city of Side, on the southern coast of Asia Minor, two deities reigned supreme: Athena, goddess of wisdom, strategy, and civilization; and Nike, the winged goddess of victory. Together they embodied the ideals of the Hellenistic world — that true triumph belongs not to brute force, but to those who combine intelligence with courage. The coins of Side captured both on a single silver disc, making them among the most visually compelling and symbolically rich of all ancient Greek coinage.
This genuine silver tetradrachm from Pamphylia, Asia Minor, struck circa 205–100 BC during the Hellenistic period, bears Athena on the obverse and winged Nike on the reverse — complete with a countermark, a secondary stamp applied in antiquity that adds another layer of historical authenticity and intrigue. Each countermark tells its own story: a coin re-validated, re-circulated, re-used across generations and borders. Now mounted in a handmade 18k gold bezel — the finest gold setting in our collection — this 2,000-year-old coin becomes a wearable artifact of extraordinary rarity and beauty.
Wisdom. Victory. Two thousand years of history on your chest.
