Time with Purpose.
The Yangtze finless porpoise — known in China as the Jiangtun, or "river pig" — is one of the world's rarest aquatic mammals. Found only in the Yangtze River, its population has declined to fewer than 1,000 individuals, making it one of the most critically endangered freshwater cetaceans on earth. Oris has partnered with the Changjiang Conservation Foundation to support the conservation of this remarkable animal — and every piece sold contributes directly to that mission.
The watch itself is extraordinary. The Oris Aquis Yangtze Jiangtun Limited Edition features a stunning mother-of-pearl dial — a material that shifts and shimmers with the same iridescent quality as the river's surface in morning light. The 43.5mm stainless steel case with tungsten minutes scale top ring houses the Caliber 733-1 automatic movement — 41 hours of power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour — delivering the full Aquis performance package in a package that carries meaning far beyond timekeeping.
A joy to wear. A meaningful statement to carry. A watch that does good simply by being on your wrist.
