The Watch

Oris is releasing a Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition dive watch in September of 2017. DePaulas.com is proud to be carrying this 43.50 mm, 1.713 in. stainless steel timepiece. The Oris Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition boasts the Oris automatic winding day date featuring the legendary automatic winding, bi-directionally rotating red rotor.

Not only does the Oris Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition watch feature a fine Swiss movement and quality craftsmanship, but it also is representative of the fragile staghorn coral, with a beautiful piece of engraved staghorn coral on its caseback.

The Oris Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition dive watch is going to be available in your choice of a stainless steel or rubber band. Acquiring one of these fantastic pieces will help a severely threatened coral species, the staghorn. Proceeds from the sales of these watches will go to the Coral Restoration Foundation in the Upper Keys.

Oris is releasing only 2000 of the Staghorn Restoration dive watches, but you can pre-order through DePaulas.com and be wearing your watch come September.

Coral Reef Restoration Foundation

The Coral Restoration Foundation in the Upper Florida Keys is a nonprofit ocean conservation organization focused on researching, growing, replanting and restoring the threatened coral population. These wondrous coral systems, the staghorn, elkhorn, boulder star, mountainous star, blade fire, and pillar corals, are threatened significantly not only by environmental, but also human-made stressors.

Trees underwater

The foundation uses innovative techniques, notably the Coral Tree Nursery®, underwater "trees" made out of PVC piping, to regrow coral. Once the coral is large enough, it's transplanted to one of seven carefully selected coral reef restoration sites. It is then attached to the reef using a special marine-safe epoxy.

An advantageous partnership

The partnership of Oris, a premier crafter of fine diving timepieces, and the Coral Restoration Foundation, is a symbiotic and natural relationship which helps preserve our fragile coral reef systems. Pre-order your Staghorn Restoration Limited Edition dive watch today at DePaulas.com.
