Seiko Prospex 1965 Re-issue SLA043
The Seiko 55th Anniversary 1965 Diver SLA043
Seiko Prospex SLA043 - $4,500
The 55th anniversary of Seiko Dive continues with the stunning SLA043. The SLA043 is inspired by the design of the original 1965 dive watch. This refitted watch has been outfitted with the superb 8L35, while it is not a hi-beat watch, this is a watch with Grand Seiko DNA. The original watch in this 62MAS style that came out earlier this year for the 55th anniversary, the SLA037, was a high beat movement with special polishing. The SLA037 runs $6,300.
The SLA043 is a great compromise, a great movement, with all brushed finished polishing for $4,500. The watch also comes with an extra blue strap. The straps are done in the original waffle style straps from the 1960s. The watch is limited to only 1,700 pcs worldwide.
The watch heritage and being a limited edition makes this a very desirable watch. The movement, design and tooling make this a very wearable watch.
