The S23631 is a remarkable professional dive watch.  With a saturation depth of 1000m it is hard to imagine needing anything more in a dependable dive watch.  The S23631 is a Seiko Tuna, a name lovingly given to the watch by Seiko fans.  The name comes from the shroud that covers the watch.  This shroud is what makes the watch able to go to such depths and be a saturation diver.  

This watch is a cool watch that has hardly seen any changes in design since it's conception in 1975.  The S23631 is a quartz watch where the movement was designed to handle great depths.  The good part about a quartz watch is that you don't have to keep setting it after taking it off for a few days like an automatic watch.  The watch is made of select materials like ceramic and titanium.  It also has a sapphire crystal which helps prevent scratches on the crystal.  There is also an anti-glare coating, that helps from getting and reflections when diving.

The ultimate too watch made for those who treat life as an adventure.  If you are going on adventures that takes you down to great depths this is the watch for you.  The tuna first introduced in 1975 changed the course of Seiko dive history. The tuna is the ultimate saturation diver's watch.  The S23631 is a rugged quartz watch with an all black look.  The stainless steel with super-hard coating bezel is a one-way rotating elapsed timing bezel.  The watch is a smaller size in when compared to the large Seiko Tuna's of late, the watch measures 47mm.  The case consists of a one-piece inner case in light and durable titanium, as well as a ceramic outer case.  The crystal has a dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.  The band is a silicone strap. 

The movement is an interesting movement, it is the 7C46.  It is a quartz movement, a special movement designed to handle the extreme depths.  The battery has a 5 year battery life.
