  The SBDC059 Revised History Seiko produced it's first dive watch in 1965.  This Seiko dive watch became an Icon and was re-done and made into a nifty re-issue vintage style with the same look but with modern parts.  This watch was a huge success, so much so that Seiko decided to start adding this vintage style head to their line.  The SBDC059 is one of those watches based on that re-issue.
