What is the Florida 300? The Florida 300 is a five-day endurance race for beach-capable catamarans to be competed along the coast of Florida, USA. The race starts at the Islander Resort, a Guy Harvey Outpost, in Islamorada (in the Florida Keys and proceeds in five legs north to the finish at the Ocean Deck Restaurant in Daytona Beach, FL. A legend was born: SLA017 In 1965, Seiko debuted a diver's watch that was the first to be quite water-resistant (150m) due to an automatic mechanical caliber. This watch, also designed for reliability in harsh conditions, was worn by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition and passed with flying colors.
